Description

The Ubuntu vase depicts an African woman holding hands around the rim of a hand thrown vase, in a spirit of unity, wearing her traditional African headscarf.

The word UBUNTU means the belief in a universal bond of sharing that connects all humanity . I am what I am because of who we all are. In Africa, the definition of an individual is community based and not individualist.  These vases represent this philosophy. 

Hand made in Cape Town by local women from the Masiphumulele township. 

These items are hand crafted so each design and color may vary slightly.
